Clust-ER TOURISM

The Clust-ER Tourism aims to create an innovative and integrated tourism ecosystem where sustainability, both human and environmental, is at the forefront: universities, schools, public research organisations, tour operators, enterprises and institutions are involved in order to foster the growth of an experiential offer, which enhances the authenticity of the territory.

Among the specific goals of the Clust-ER are the upgrading of the regional tourist facilities and supply and the relaunch of a new tourism, oriented towards the sustainable use of the territory’s identity specificities, capable of networking the territory’s cultural, archaeological and landscape excellences, favouring the development of eco-sustainable zero impact tourist facilities, supporting the digital innovation of the supply and marketing of the region’s tourist products, through the use of data analytics and data management systems and the qualification and empowerment of the tourist operators.

The Emilia-Romagna Region has found in the Clust-ERs the subjects capable of multiplying innovation opportunities through a collaborative approach, as they focus their activity in R&D strategic sectors.

Together with the Technopoles and the High Technology Network laboratories, they are one of the key players in the regional innovation ecosystem coordinated by ART-ER, the Emilia-Romagna Joint Stock Consortium Company for innovation and the sustainable growth.
